| The concept “CookingholidaySpain.com” was born out of my great passion for anything to do with cooking, food, wine and everything that is connected with the gastronomic world. We are the first company based in Costa del Sol, specialised in private & personalised gastronomic services. I have been involved in the tourism industry for over 14 years and certainly my passion for this wonderful world has developed with time. We have grown out of the need to provide a more personal & private service for the most demanding customers. After many years involved in the tourism industry we realised that there was a demand for a smaller, more personalised operator who could offer a more unique experience, one far different from those encountered from large coach companies, therefore, we are a company believing in personalised, quality and hands-on service to all our clients insuring our promises are kept! Thus, more often than not, tourists come as clients and leave as part of the family! There is no limit to passion and this is something that I love to share during your stay with us: “Cooking is the pleasure of a satisfying meal in good company.” In cooking we are only an extension of other people. One does not become a good cook in a vacuum, and certainly not overnight. It is a rather long process made up of exposure to good food and talented cooks. Most of us have been moulded by someone we admire. My mother was my first mentor. Her food was simple, wonderfully honest, tasty and generous, and it is exactly on this basis that our cooking demonstrations are based. My insatiable culinary curiosity has lead me to discover a wide range of different recipes and I have also been fortunate to be able to work with some extremely skilful and talented chefs, from whom I have stolen some secrets that I will share with you all. All this has enriched me with a considerable “memory bank” that transcends any written recipes, a memory bank which is made up of tangible flavours spoken in different languages. Our high quality personalized gastronomic service will bring you closer to a world of Andalucian flavours, which are healthily Mediterranean and innovatively creative. I am sure that there will be something for everyone here, and the enjoyment I got from planning and producing these memorable holidays will be shared by you too.
